Decided to continue having mammograms and reevaluate

Information was reviewed regarding the patient’s chance of breast cancer with and without mammography, and her chances of dying from breast cancer with and without mammography. We also discussed some of the downsides of mammography screening, including false alarms and overdiagnosis. Based on our discussion, we decided together that she would continue having screening mammograms and then reevaluate.
